How long does a framing project take?
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the build. A single-family home is typically framed in two to four weeks, while multi-unit and commercial projects are scheduled in phases. You receive a firm schedule with your estimate, and we keep you updated at every stage.
Do you provide free project estimates?
Yes. Every estimate is free and carries no obligation. Tell us about your project and we will review the plans, walk the site where needed, and come back with a detailed, itemized cost breakdown.
What areas do you serve?
Our focus is Vancouver’s premium neighbourhoods — West Vancouver, East Vancouver, Kitsilano and Shaughnessy. We also work across the wider Lower Mainland, including Maple Ridge and Chilliwack, and on Vancouver Island, depending on the project. Get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
What does the 2-5-10 year warranty cover?
The BC 2-5-10 home warranty covers two years on labour and materials, five years on the building envelope, and ten years on structural defects. Every project we complete is backed by it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Mountview Construction Ltd. is a licensed and fully insured BC builder. Proof of licensing and insurance is available on request before work begins.
Do you handle both residential and commercial work?
Both. We frame custom homes, townhouses and condominiums, and we take on commercial developments, tenant improvements and structural work for retail and office buildings.
